Continued fraction convergent — where it appears

A best rational approximation to a number, produced by truncating its continued fraction. The denominators of the convergents of a divergence are the parastichy numbers a lattice at that divergence shows, which is the whole of the connection between Fibonacci and phyllotaxis.
